Tulip Restaurant is the perfect place for a celebratory dinner, date night or mid-week treat. Their unique and seasonal menu will have something to please everyone.
The experience at this restaurant is incredible from the chef greeting you upon ordering with a unique creation to sample to the front of house team’s personalised touches.
To Drink
Upon arrival, select from an extensive list of local and international wines, a range of beers, well-known spirits, or start your night with one of Tulip’s many cocktails. If you don’t see a cocktail listed that takes your fancy, they will be more than happy to curate a cocktail of your choosing. For us, an Old Fashioned and a Gin Martini (extra dirty)!
If you are celebrating, a glass of glass of bubbles would be a fine choice (although if you go with our menu selection below, perhaps hold the bubbles for the time being).
To Eat
The menu at Tulip is not extensive but the selection of food is curated with the best the region has to offer. The seasonal menu is subject to change ensuring that, no matter how frequently you visit this establishment, there will always be something new and delicious to try.
We would recommend the 4-course Chef’s Selections tasting menu (with the steak add-on of course) to experience the best this incredible chef has to offer! This 4-course menu offers 9 dishes allowing you to sample a range of dishes on offer. Be sure to let the staff know of any allergies, or dislikes (no oysters for me thank you)!
My note from before regarding the bubbles is important here. We suggest that to make your experience even better indulge in the wine pairing. The wine for the first course is an exceptional glass of bubbles that pairs perfectly and is a fantastic commencement to an evening of enjoyment. You will also be provided a glass of white, red and then a choice of dessert wine depending on your final sweet selection. Although, if you are like us and enjoy sampling and sharing everything, you might be in luck and receive a glass of both dessert wines on offer.
If you prefer more control over your meal, take your pick from the al a carte selection as anything you decide on will be incredible. The front-of-house staff will be more than happy to provide a wine pairing suggestion for any meal you choose.
